He Said That I Was A Very Attractive Lady -serious Or Not?

Ah.....a little confused. Let me explain:

Went on a girl's weekend with family members which included mom,sisters and nieces. The nieces are in their early to mid-twenties. The rest of us are 39 years (me) old up to 62(mom). The nieces decided to go to the local hoppin' bar. They met the cute bartender that worked there. They told us he was 31 years old and had a 7 years old daughter. He waited on them hand and foot all night. The young ladies told him they were bringing along the "older" girl's the next night. When we got there it was very busy. Standing room and packed! The nieces introduced us to the bartender and that was that. We were there for about 30 minutes when all of a sudden the bartender comes from behind the bar. He walks up to me, puts his arm around me and says "Oh my God, you are so hot!" I played it off as a joke and got picked on by my nieces about it. I figured he was trying to drum up business and didn't think much of it. As we were leaving he again ran out on his customers to hug me good-bye and says "I'm never gonna see you again". Commented that I was very pretty and patted me on my stomach before we left. How awkward!! My nieces stayed for more drinks and were picking on him about his behavior. He said that I was a very attractive lady. The question? Is this guy serious or was he trying to get us to stay for more drinks? Help!!!

Dear Miss Flowers

It would seem like very peculiar behavior for someone who was just after your business. Could you tell if his behavior was consistent throughout the night with the other ladies? I would doubt if he went and hugged every one of them who was leaving the establishment. If he did then there would be a lot of disgruntled clients behind the bar which would be bad for business.

Attraction works in many different and wonderful ways so you should not be surprised if he did indeed think that you were attractive and that he wanted to make this known to you. I'm sure that one of the girls in your family would have told him that you were only there for the
weekend so he knew that you weren't going to be regular customers.

He only had that night to make himself stand out to you so he did that and it worked. Although being nice to customers is always good for business his primary objective was probably just to let you know that he found you very attractive.

Whether this means that he would like to have a relationship with you or not is uncertain. The
only way that you will know is if you got a girlfriend to come with you another weekend and
then see how he behaves. If you have the courage to go there on your own then this is would
probably even be better because he would definitely come over for a chat. If he doesn't and has forgotten you then you have your answer.

Hey miss flowers, here's the thing. I used to be very bad at reading the signs. I could never figure out if a guy liked me or not. I found this article signs he is attracted to you.
