I never ask a guy I am interested in out. I want to know if he is truly interested. This is my rule. I may even refuse a few times to see how keen he is. There is a quite funny guy who I joke around the office... Before going on trip he asked people around him and me personally if we are going to miss him, this is all in a funny way?

It sounds like he is interested, but doesn't know if you are. The whole conversation of marriage was not actually brought up by either of you, but someone else made that statement. It seems afterward, the guy took it a step further by joking with you about it.
It seems to me as if by him asking if you want to marry him that he is really trying to find out if you are already dating someone.
Since this is confusing, the next time he "joked" about a honeymoon, I would say "I wouldn't accept a ring from a stranger, marry and go on a honeymoon with someone I've never dated" then get up and walk away briefly.
Give him something to think about in the midst of all his "joking". That is a blunt yet funny way to let him know where your priorities are. It will be up to him to take it from there. Next time he asks "did you miss me?", I'd say "I was too busy to miss you".... say it with a big smile.
Bottom line: If a man is truly interested in a woman, it may take him some time, but he will approach her. I would not approach him for a date if I were you. To avoid further confusion, I would also no longer indulge in all the joking around either.
