Picking up on whether a man is interested in you?

Picking up on whether a man is interested in you? WOMEN's Portal / How to Ask Men Out  / Mixed signals of attraction /

I'm usually pretty good at picking up on whether someone has an interest in me. So I sensed a man whom I know for some time did. For months we gave each other secret looks.

When he looked at me I turned away and when I looked at him he turned away. I'm still fighting the attraction.

If a man is interested in a woman he will make it clear

I do think he finds you attractive, or he would not be staring. People only stare for 2 reasons:

1) You look good; or

2) You look bad.

I assume he stares because of the first one He has noticed you, that is for sure. I think no matter where you are in the world, when a man is interested in a woman, he will naturally come to you, maybe sooner, maybe later.

Attracting stares from men - that means you look good

I think you are feeling a thrill because you have caught someone's eye. But I feel women must be able to separate what a thrill is meant to simply enjoy without expectation, and an attraction, which should be pursued.

I would continue to enjoy any attention he gave you, but that is it. He sounds very immature. If he is sending his friends over to you instead of coming by himself, he is either shy or very full of himself. I would continue to enjoy his stares, that mean you look good, but nothing further. It is fine to flirt with men

What indicates a man is attracted to you but shy?

Bottom line: So to send a friend over as if to “ summon you ” is arrogant and shows a lack of confidence on his part. My suggestion is: don't get involved with anyone who is so hot he is always sought after by a lot of women, that just spells trouble.

I would not call him or strike up a conversation with him at all. Let him do that. If he is interested in a relationship, he will do that. Don't allow the thrill of catching a younger man's eye cloud your judgment. For more tips about attracting stares from men, refer to e-books in series “ Relationships: Puzzles and Answers ” :

relationships advicePower words: Start and keep the conversation going
There is a high possibility that a man is interested in you and would like to become more than friends with you. A man might test your interest in him in an excessive way, so just play it cool like he's not the first one to come up to you. More than likely he will stop the flirty moves unless he really likes you.

The key to being successful with men is to be confident and to have good interpersonal skills. In order for you to develop speaking confidently to men you will need to practice. Sometimes men expect women to have a sign up on their head saying "I like you" when they are trying to read and interpret the woman they are trying to create an interest in.

If you are looking to meeting man online I’m about to reveal my impressions about that way of meeting people. Men love fantasies, and there is no safer place to explore these than the internet. They might be serious about trying to find someone, or maybe not. I was pleasantly surprised at the looks of some of them.
