There is a woman that when I am around her my gut spins in circles. I am full of confidence and never had a problem with it. I don't know why I get so freaked out around a pretty woman. I continue through life passing her in the hallway with that strange awkwardness woman have.

You should be treating this situation like any other time that you have asked a girl out and not consider it the end all and be all of your happiness. If she says Yes and goes out with you, then fantastic, if she says No then that's all right too and you can move on.

Bottom line: Why not aim a bit lower and try to engage her in a casual conversation?
