I got attracted to a woman at workplace. She throws compliments to me occasionally so, apparently we got intimate. She responds well to my occasional flirting signs and I got impressions she's ready to progress in a relationship. She knows I have had a number of girls walking in and out of my life.
I think we have a lot of common ground; we share many interests and spend some really nice moments together. Apparently I've raised a marriage intentions and she seemed to slow down since then. I don't like to appear too pushy, but I'm afraid I might loose her for another guy?
I do not know many girls who will flirt with guys if they did not find them attractive. In that she responds to you flirting with her and she compliments you when you look nice would definitely indicate that she finds you physically attractive.
Considering that you also hang out together for quite a bit would indicate that you are mentally compatible as well. However I'm wondering whether hanging out together this frequently actually assists in your cause of snagging her or hinders it.
Whilst you two are together she basically enjoys the general privileges of hanging out with a guy whilst at the same time being able to pursue her career and still being free enough to do what she wants with her friends. Thus, no serious commitment on her part.
Also I'm wondering whether the reason that she has not made any advances towards you is because of the whole marriage and settling down issue. Although she is concentrating on her career at the moment she is still very much inclined to marriage and settling down one day.
Bottom line: When you told her what you thought about marriage, she might have subconsciously been thinking. "This guy is great but he does not share the same values concerning marriage and settling down that I do. It could be risky being with him because he could very well just move on one day if he is fed up".
Also since she considers you a man who likes to have fun and that you have had generally a number of girls walking in and out of your life. She may very well have crystallized in her mind that at the moment you are only looking to date for fun and are not serious about settling down.
I'm thinking that if you want her to pursue you that she may do it if you can drop hints that you feel like settling down with someone. I could be wrong but I could also be right.
