Do you have any tips on being patient whilst playing hard to get? It's a new concept to me and I'm finding it tempting just to bottle it, chase her again, especially when it's someone who i think the prospects for are good.
Playing hard to get seems very popular. Be careful, not everybody plays games like you do.
Playing hard to get is just a game that some women AND men play, sometimes unintentionally. You can either enter the game or you can say firmly no, thanks.
Sooner or later you will meet somebody who also doesn't like games. Personally, I detest games of any kind, when it comes to dating, except if it was not some kind of flirting in an early stage of acquaintance.
There is a wide margin between playing hard to get and going overboard with instant love and affection. I have never played hard to get in all my years of dating.
Most women would think it's rude not to return calls or pretend to have plans when you don't. While you shouldn't normally play hard to get, you should be sometimes hard to get. Although you can put off calls as much as you can and still be polite.
Bottom line: I like to date people who have a busy social life and sometimes they are hard to contact but I can almost always tell when the “ playing hard to get ” is all play.
